InnerCity Action is a non-profit, faith based organization in the san joaquin vally in California. We are a team of dedicated Individuals that are changing our community one city at a time.

We are a ministry with a mission to bring hope, healing, and the love of Jesus Christ to people in need—both within our local communities and throughout the inner cities of America. Our ministry is made up of passionate individuals, each serving a unique purpose while sharing the same calling: to reach people with compassion and the transforming power of the Gospel.

Beyond food assistance, we offer a variety of community services designed to encourage, strengthen, and support those who are hurting. Whether through prayer, mentorship, community outreach, or acts of compassion, our goal is to demonstrate God's love in tangible ways and help people discover lasting hope.

We serve the San Joaquin Valley and the surrounding communities, meeting practical needs while sharing the hope of Christ. One of our primary outreaches is our food distribution ministry, where we provide groceries to individuals and families facing financial hardship. We believe no one should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table.

We also travel throughout the inner cities of America, reaching people where they are—on the streets, in neighborhoods, and in communities often marked by poverty, violence, addiction, and despair. We seek out those who feel forgotten, brokenhearted, and trapped by life's circumstances, reminding them that they are not alone and that there is hope in Jesus Christ.

Everywhere we go, we pray with individuals and families, listen to their stories, and share the message that no life is beyond God's redemption. We believe every person has value, purpose, and the opportunity for a new beginning.

At the heart of our outreach is our large crusade tent, where communities are invited to gather for powerful worship, life-changing testimonies, biblical teaching, prayer, and encouragement. It is a place where people encounter the love of God, find healing for wounded hearts, break free from addiction and hopelessness, and begin a transformed life through Jesus Christ.

  • Inner City Action was founded in 2009

    nner City Action was birthed out of a man and woman’s cry to see lost and hurting men and women restored. Pastors Frank & Kim Saldana had a vision that was greater than the need.

    What began as a weekly outreach to just 50 people quickly grew into a life-changing ministry serving more than 500 individuals each week. Through food, clothing, worship, prayer, and the faithful sharing of the Gospel, iAction earned the trust of the homeless community by showing up consistently with compassion. The result was more than growth in numbers—it was transformed lives, restored hope, and countless opportunities to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ in action.

    At Inner City Action, our mission is to equip and empower individuals with the skills, confidence, and real-world work experience they need to successfully re-enter the workforce, achieve lasting independence, and build meaningful, productive lives. Through Uptown Thrift in Lodi, California, our participants gain hands-on job training while serving the community alongside dedicated volunteers, transforming the store into a place where lives are renewed, restored, and prepared for a brighter future. Every donation, every purchase, and every visit directly supports this life-changing mission, making you a partner in creating hope, opportunity, and lasting impact.

    This location served as our Community Resource Center and Administrative Offices, where we were dedicated to serving individuals and families throughout the Stockton community. Our mission was to provide hope, support, and essential resources to those in need while creating opportunities for families to experience restoration, empowerment, and a brighter future. Through compassion, outreach, and practical assistance, we worked to strengthen our community and make a lasting impact in the lives of those we served.

  • Revive – Bringing Life Back To The People

    We believe lasting change begins with hope, purpose, and a renewed sense of direction. Through outreach, mentorship, encouragement, and support, we create opportunities for individuals to find healing, restoration, and a path toward a better future.

  • Restore – Heal broken lives

    The ministry seeks to help people overcome addiction, homelessness, abuse, poverty, and broken relationships. Rather than simply meeting immediate needs, it aims to help people experience lasting life change through discipleship, accountability, and Christian community.

  • Rebuild – Raise up leaders

    The vision extends beyond helping individuals. The goal is to develop disciples who become leaders and missionaries in their own communities. Inner City Action describes its outreach center as an equipping center that trains and sends laborers into cities across America.
